Plain-English summary of how we handle your application data.
What we collect
- Identity: name, email, country, timezone
- Your answers to the screening (text, numbers, multiple-choice)
- Files you upload (resume, ads)
- Your Loom URL
- Technical: IP, user-agent, time-stamps
- UTM source from the link you clicked
Why we collect it
To evaluate your application and decide whether to invite you to the next step.
Where it's stored
- Airtable (US) — application records and your answers
- Kie.ai — uploaded files (resume, ad images)
- Loom — your screen recording lives on Loom's servers under your account
- Cloudflare — temporary session state (24h)
- Resend — email delivery for confirmations
How long we keep it
Application records: 90 days after submission, unless we hire you (then it becomes part of your employment record).
Your rights
You can request a copy or deletion of your data at any time. Email hello@inkz.io with your name and the email you submitted with. We'll respond within 7 days.
Legal basis
For Australian residents, we operate under the Australian Privacy Principles (APP). For EU/UK residents, the legal basis for processing is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR / Article 9(2)(a) for any sensitive data inferred from voluntary fields).
No automated decisions
Scoring is partly automated (multi-choice questions get scored by the server) but no rejection is fully automatic — a human reviews every submission that passes the knockout checks.
